Authors are invited to submit papers that describe innovative and significant work in the research and practice of component-based software development, architectures and reuse.

Submission Process

Papers submitted to SBCARS 2007 must present original unpublished work and will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, presentation and comparison with relevant related work.

Submitted papers can be written in Portuguese or English. They should be in PDF format and may be no longer than 14 pages, including all text, figures and references, according to the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) template. PDF, Word, Latex and OpenOffice templates are available at:

The first page should provide: paper title; authors' names, affiliations and e-mail addresses; and a short abstract, compatible with the language chosen for the paper. Paper submissions will be made electronically via the portal: https://submissoes.sbc.org.br

We encourage the submission of papers in English since the best selected papers written in English may be published in a journal.


Acceptance of Papers

All accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings. Accepted papers must be presented at the symposium by one of the authors, implying that at least one of them should register for the symposium.

Selected papers from the proceedings may appear in a special issue of a journal.Only accepted contributions written in English are eligible to be published in the journal.
