<object version="1.0"><id>25850722</id><title>Belo Monte</title><description>Belo Monte is a small village where the Transamazon Highway crosses the Xingu River.  The crossing is done by ferry.

Belo Monte gave his name to the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Project, now under construction, that when completed will be one of the largest in the world.
