In such approaches the interface is understood as a collection of messages sent by the designer to the user. This paper discusses the main Semiotic proposals to software design and proposes a new understanding for interface design which makes explicit the communication among the entities that inhabit the interface. The proposal is illustrated by observing results of users in game playing situation. } }
