Operations Research
This page consolidates two Operations Research courses — EEI744 (Operations Research II) and EEI946 (Operations Research III) — that I taught in sequence at UFRJ’s Escola Politécnica (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), as part of the same optimization training track. Since the fundamental content of the two is the same — modeling and solving optimization problems — this page brings them together into a single course.
Final Objectives
Students should be able to build nonlinear, linear, mixed-integer linear, and dynamic programming optimization models, applying them to inventory, graph, and queueing problems.
