Registration is open for the 32nd edition of the Young Scientist Award.

This year's theme is "Artificial intelligence for the common good," and the event invites young researchers from across the country to develop technological solutions with social impact.

Artificial intelligence is already part of the daily lives of people not only in Brazil but worldwide, transforming areas such as health, education, the environment, mobility, public management, and others. While it expands opportunities, it also poses ethical, social, educational, and economic challenges that demand reflection and responsibility. It is in this context that applications are open for the 32nd edition of the Young Scientist Award (PJC), an initiative of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), in partnership with the Roberto Marinho Foundation, which this year has the theme "Artificial intelligence for the common good." The idea is to propose a perspective focused on the use of technology as a tool for reducing inequalities and promoting sustainable development.
