Please distributed!! Sorry for cross post!! Workshop of Ideas and Projects The Workshop of Ideas and Projects (WIP) is a forum dedicate to discuss ideas of projects related with Knowledge Discover and Data Analysis that are interesting not only to academia but also to industries. The workshop aims at bringing together students and industries to share experiences and discuss students’ ideas. >From the students’ perspective, their projects will be evaluated on how interesting to companies they are and how they bring business value. The WIP Program Committee invites submissions containing project proposals (from ideas to running projects in any stage of development) in the Data Mining and Machine Learning areas. Submitted papers will be reviewed based on originality, relevance, technical soundness and clarity of presentation. The papers will also be reviewed base on industries aspects viability of implementation, complexity of development, return of investment etc. WIP will be held in the city of São Carlos, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil in conjunction with KDMiLe Symposium from July 17 to 19 and the II School of Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery in Databases (MLKDD). It will be organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Computation at University of São Paulo, Brazil. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Papers may be written in Portuguese or English and should be submitted not exceeding two pages. The papers must be submitted in according to the format of the Journal of Information and Data Management (JIDM).
