Topologists can use this fine piece of equipment to evert spheres and other surfaces, build Klein bottles and projective planes without inconvenient self-intersections or pinch points, and untangle even the most complicated knots. Geometers need it to check solids for Euclidean congruence, as well as to convert right-handed to left-handed reference frames without running into potentially dangerous null determinants. Physicists may use it to convert elementary particles and in symmetry-preservation experiments. Chemists will find it is by far the most efficient way to synthesize enantiomers of common organic compounds, such as L-glucose and left-handed DNA.
