A comparative study of color descriptors.

*Project Description* 

Color property is one of the most widely used visual feature in
content-based image retrieval (CBIR) systems. An important task during
the design of these systems consists in determining appropriate color
descriptors taking into account a target application.

This project will involve the following tasks:
* Implementing a set of image descriptors based on color property;
* Comparing these descriptors in terms of common measures like precision and recall;
* Code documentation.
