    Reuse of program parts through  cloning and adaptation is a common
    practice  in  software   development.  However  it  creates  later
    problems in  system maintenance.   This report describes  the main
    ideas  behind a  tool  developed to  assist  in identification  of
    software clones based on some techniques used in detecting program
    plagiarism.
