O Grupo e seus Objetivos
O grupo consiste em pesquisadores, alunos e voluntários de diversas áreas de conhecimento que pretendem conceber e desenvolver, de forma participativa, soluções tecnológicas para comunidades que sejam apropriadas do ponto de vista econômico, social e cultural bem como sustentáveis em termos operacionais e financeiros. De forma mais específica, o grupo tem por objetivos e diretrizes:
- suprir carências tecnológicas de segmentos menos favorecidos (para promover o desenvolvimento social)
- combater a “pobreza informacional” (exclusão por falta de acesso à informação no meio virtual)
- privilegiar o coletivo
- priorizar questões sociais e culturais
- adotar técnicas participativas
